Teen with a stoma is written for teenagers by teenagers, sharing their real stories and reflects the issues that are important to them.
Three teenagers have been interviewed and photographed for the booklet. In their own words they share with us their different stories. How was it to get a stoma at such a young and complex age - their thoughts, feelings and reactions.
The booklet includes forewords written by two adults who also experienced getting a stoma when they were teenagers, and describes how they have coped with living with a stoma.
Lastly, there is also a "Hints & Tips"-section written especially for teenagers.
